Helicopter Tours of Texas uses a state of the art Robinson 44 Helicopter that carries 3 passengers in air conditioned comfort. It has 4-way communication for interaction between the pilot and other passengers as well as the bubble windows for optimum viewing.

Our friendly staff is well trained and eager to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable tour.

Steve Van Buren, Owner and Pilot, has over thirty years of flight experience. He is licensed for commercial single & multi engine airplanes and commercial helicopter. Steve is the former owner and founder of Skydive San Marcos, which is located in Fentress (13 miles East of San Marcos), and he flew many hours in the twenty years he was there.

John Holler, Chief Pilot, is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and has several fixed wing and rotor wing licenses. He has several years of experience in commercial flight, as well as commercial flight operations.

Jim Williams - Veteran Army Helicopter pilot began flying both fixed and rotary wing aircraft over 30 years ago. Jim flew many combat missions while in Vietnam and holds a Commercial Helicopter License.

Our goal at Helicopter Tours of Texas is to have every passenger, no matter what age, come away with a memorable experience.

We are open Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am until Dusk.
